I. General Provisions
To protect the rights and interests of both buyers and sellers and to clarify after-sales service responsibilities and procedures, these After-Sales Terms are hereby formulated. These Terms apply to vehicle transactions conducted through the Guazi platform, covering policies related to returns, exchanges, refunds, and shipment.
Guazi warrants that all vehicles sold are 100% as described. Regarding after-sales warranty services, considering differences in various market environments, Guazi will strive to provide comprehensive and convenient online assistance as important support for the Purchaser.
Both parties can respond to and answer various questions from the Purchaser through multiple channels such as telephone, email, and online video conferences. Due to factors such as the actual usage environment, maintenance frequency, and operational standards of the vehicle in the buyer's locality, specific implementation details of the vehicle warranty may require the Purchaser to conduct further consideration and planning based on local actual conditions to better ensure the stable operation and continuous use of the vehicle locally.
II. Return, Exchange, and Refund Policy
If the buyer requires an inspection of the vehicle after payment, they can negotiate with the Guazi. The inspection must be completed no later than 3 working days after the vehicle arrives at the port of shipment warehouse.
Application: The buyer must submit an application via email to globalguazi@guazi.com, attaching a complete inspection report (including qualifications), problem videos, and photos. Incomplete materials will be considered an invalid application.
Review: A re-inspection by a third-party agency agreed upon by both parties confirms the existence of major undisclosed quality defects (e.g., engine/transmission failure, body structure repairs) or serious discrepancies from the contracted configuration / mileage.
Processing: The platform will assist in replacing the vehicle or arranging a return. Port storage/loading and unloading costs incurred will be borne by the responsible party. Returns or exchanges are not supported after the goods have been released by China Customs.
If loss or damage occurs during international transportation, the Guazi will assist the buyer in filing a claim with the shipping company.
Seller Exemptions
Guazi has the right to refuse returns if the vehicle has completed customs clearance, registration, modification, or if the buyer has used it for more than 30 days. Guazi will assist in coordination but does not assume return responsibility for losses caused by buyer's delay in picking up the vehicle, customs clearance errors, or force majeure.
Refund Policy
1. $300 Refund Policy
1.1 Deposit Purpose: Buyer pays $300 to reserve the vehicle; Guazi initiates export procedures (inspection, verification, license application, etc.).
1.2 Refundable: If an order is canceled for reasons not attributable to the buyer, it will not be considered a breach of contract, and a refund may be issued. Refund requests will be processed within 48 hours. Once approved, the funds will be returned to your bank account (original payment method) within 7–15 days.
1.3、Non-refundable:
1) The buyer cancels the order
2) For Guazi self-operated vehicles and dealer vehicles, if 30% of the vehicle price is not paid within 7 days, a $300 deposit will be deducted.
3) For private direct-sale vehicles, if the 30% deposit is not received within 10 days after paying the $300 fee, a $300 deposit will be deducted.
2、Default Deduction Rules
Vehicle return due to buyer’s fault: If the buyer applies to cancel the vehicle purchase contract for reasons solely attributable to the buyer, the platform has the right to deduct an appropriate amount from the buyer’s paid purchase price based on the actual performance circumstances. In special circumstances, the platform may deduct the entire amount paid.
III. Shipment Policy
Shipment Timeline
Guazi will arrange shipment within 10 days after receiving the full payment and compliant documents (e.g., identification, customs clearance documents). The platform is not responsible for shipment delays caused by delayed document submission or payment by the buyer.
If shipment needs to be delayed, the platform will notify the buyer 3 days in advance. If the buyer does not respond within 24 hours, it will be deemed as acceptance of the delay.
Logistics Responsibility
FOB Trade Terms: The logistics provider is designated by the buyer, responsible for internationally compliant transportation (sea transport via RoRo vessel / land multimodal transport).
CIF Trade Terms: The freight forwarder is designated by Guazi, responsible for internationally compliant transportation. The normal timeframe is 30-45 days. If delays occur due to port congestion or changes in destination country policies, the platform will assist in follow-up but does not bear the resulting losses.
Delivery Requirements
After the vehicle arrives at the port, the platform assists by providing customs clearance documents. The buyer should pick up the vehicle within 7 days. If the buyer delays picking up the vehicle, they are responsible for storage fees, demurrage, and port fines; if the vehicle is not picked up for over 30 days, the platform has the right to consign the vehicle for disposal, offset the costs, and refund any remaining balance.
IV. General Terms
Revisions to this policy will be announced on Guazi for 7 days. Transactions occurring after the revision will be deemed acceptance of the new policy.
Any disputes shall be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) for arbitration in accordance with its arbitration rules. This agreement is governed by the law of Hong Kong.
If the buyer forges materials or maliciously requests returns/exchanges, Guazi has the right to terminate the transaction and pursue liability.
